Meet Hermine

Hermine’s path in movement began over two decades ago as a single mother and swim coach looking to build a life centered around strength, balance, and family. Her foundation was forged in physical therapy at Wellspring Physical Therapy in St. Helena, through comprehensive instructor training, and observing top industry leaders like Stanford athletes' Pilates trainer Tom McCook. She later established her own successful studio in Santa Rosa, teaching Pilates and coaching swimming for 16 years. Her commitment to excellence hits close to home—all three of her daughters trained right in the studio with her and went on to earn full-ride scholarships, 2 for swimming, ASU and UCSB, and an academic full ride to Cal.

Drawing from thousands of hours in the studio and on the pool deck, Hermine possesses an exceptional eye for biomechanics, movement patterns, and subtle body alignment. Over her career, her technical precision and encouraging style have guided athletes of all levels—from adults rediscovering fitness to Olympic Gold Medalists and U.S. Olympic Trials competitors.

As a forever student of movement, Hermine practices what she teaches—staying active through daily swimming, cycling, golf, and Pilates. She brings a deep wellspring of practical knowledge, adaptability, and joyful energy to every session, helping clients of all ages move efficiently, recover alignment, and discover what their bodies are truly capable of achieving.
